Linked&Chat or Connect

I started working on this project with a group of students during Hack the North 2021. It was to allow users on Linkedin to make one-on-one calls without the need to connect with them directly on Linkedin.

The platform would be beneficial for recruiters because it would allow them to directly talk to job seekers without actually meeting them in person or directly connecting with them.

Phase I:

• Login System: Allowing Linkedin users to login into the web application

Phase II:

• List all users that are currently on the web app with their Linkedin profile
• Include a profile of the user where they can see who is calling and what other users can see

Phase III:

• Include buttons to either make a video call on each profile
• The video call will be using Twilio

Added features after Phase I-III is completed:

• An option to chat
• Saved history including chat, video calls
• Filters such as but not limited to tech, business, entrepreneurship and finance to specially talk to users who are interested in those categories
• Create time constrict for each video call
• An option for users to show their availability for this platform
